Re: Kiwi Syslog rules with time interval

I haven't tested this yet but to iterate on your idea...

For that rule write all the files to a separate directory, of you don't already.

Then update your batch file that runs via the task scheduler(or the under utilized Kiwi Scheduler) to read each text file in the directory and run the blat command.  You would probably want to change the file name that Kiwi creates from %MsgHost.txt to just %MsgHost.txt but it's not required.  It would just make the email subject cleaner but would also make the attachment opening more confusing.

I'd also consider running the scheduled task more often and adding parameters to the batch file that only deletes files older than X minutes.  That way you get notified faster but don't get repeated emails while resolving the issue.

Google and StackOverflow should provide examples of both commands.  It's been quite a while since I did much with batch files.

This should all be able to accomplished within Kiwi as well but would require scripts using VBscript, Python or similar language running on the CLR.
