Same thing is happening to me.
Im running: Kiwi Log Viewer. Version 2.1.0 Build 20090416
though my registered low viewer likes to crash when using an incorrect regex syntax, while making highlight filters.
after the crash my license info is lost and I have to re-enter it.
strangely, if I enter it and quit the program normally, it still does not save my license info.
I opened a ticket on this last week and still haven't heard back from anyone...
** Edit:
Just received a reply on my ticket.
In reference to license info disappearing
"in terms of License issue, this is likely occuring because Kiwi Log Viewer is halting and not saving the license to the hard drive. You may try to enter the license and then properly close kiwi log viewer and see if the issue still occurs. If it still fails, you may try to run Log Viewer as Administrator. It should enter the license information within:
-Windows Vista, 7 and 2008: C:\ProgramData\KiwiLogFileViewer.ini or
-Windows XP, 2003: C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\KiwiLogFileViewer.ini"
in my case, I had to edit the file permissions for KiwiLowFileView.ini (I gave user access write permission). Then I gave log viewer my info, restarted it and it remained.
as far as the crashing goes. that is apparently known and I was told will be resolved in the next release.
