Just another note – sending the syslog to another server I setup for testing, it logs with the correct ip. I’ve defaulted the syslog server, reinstalled it – still changes the IP.

Hi, Wireshark shows the correct IP. It’s only on the actual syslog server that the IP is from the neighbouring device.
