Currently running on Windows 2003 R2 server.Ultimately my plan is to migrate this to 2008 R2. I thought upgrading the latest syslogd version on the current server would help ease the transition.

I would try installing on  your 2008 system, and then importing from you INI file.  If that works for you, then move the logs over as needed.

That did it, and it's working now.I also installed the web console, however it never updates. I click on resume, refresh, but just shows the same information.What am I doing wrong.

Hi ericlog, since you have 443 enabled, deleting port 8088 registration should be OK to delete.

Please right click Rules -> Add new Rule. And configure it like this:Kiwi Syslog Web Access Hit apply. Refresh your KWA web console and verify it the events are coming in now.

Hi azevedo my guess is %Hostname is the culprit. This autosplit %Hostname variable will try to contact your DNS server or look for static cache entries, who knows the resolution might be incorrect...
