How many messages per hour can Kiwi Syslog handle without dropping messages?
How many messages per hour can the syslog server reliably handle per hour or per second before dropping / skipping / missing messages and failing to trigger alerts?

Is it possible to expose the queue via a script and write it to disk? This would be more valuable if there was the ability to read and alert on the remaining queue space.

I don't believe so today, but this is absolutely a good idea on an area we can enhance going forward. I will double check with dev though on the script idea to be certain.

I think the main issue is that when the service restarts, nothing is listening on port 514.

I'm just a home user who looks at my router logs every now and again, and Kiwi Syslog Free works very well for this. Licensed version is a little steep for my wallet. Thanks for your reply.
